January 01, 2013 WMFE - It's a new year and 2013 starts with Capturing the essence of Orlando ... in sculpture. That's the goal of a group of local leaders and private investors who want to install large, iconic sculptures in the city's downtown. I'll talk with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and others involved in the effort to boost the city's cultural identity. Plus, when a new year comes people want to look ahead, but we'll look to the heavens and talk with a NASA composer who gets his inspiration from the red planet Mars.
