BP Shares Included in Many Floridians' Portfolios

June 14, 2010 -- BP says its costs for responding to the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico have risen to $1.6 billion dollars. The company says that number includes a new $25 million dollar grant for Florida. There's lots of speculation about what the oil spill will mean for the financial health of BP, and many ordinary Floridians could have a stake in the answer. Shares of the energy giant are part of the Florida Retirement System Pension Fund, as well as many mutual funds. From WGCU in Fort Myers, Valerie Alker has more.
