Hank Fishkind October 19 - Foreclosure Crisis Impacts Entire Economy

October 19, 2010 | WMFE - Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum has joined with his counterparts in other states in calling for an investigation into the mortgage practices of the nation's major home mortgage lenders. Bank of America and several other large lenders announced a temporary halt to foreclosure proceedings last week but then late Monday said they would resume foreclosures for now. Meanwhile, the states are looking into numerous allegations of shoddy paperwork and other questionable practices by the lenders. 90.7's Tom Parkinson spoke with economic analyst Hank Fishkind and asked him if the foreclosure crisis is worse here in Florida than in other states.
