2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season Ends

November 30, 2010 | The 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season officially ends today. It produced twelve hurricanes, five of which were considered to be major storms of at least category three or greater. No hurricanes hit the US mainland. There were nineteen named storms in total. It has now been five years since Florida, and the US have been hit by a major hurricane. The last storm to do so was Hurricane Wilma in 2005.
