Hank Fishkind March 8 - Budget Cuts Will Hit Health and Education Hardest

March 8, 2011 | WMFE - The annual legislative session in Tallahassee starts this morning and lawmakers have a daunting task ahead of them. The state's budget deficit is estimated to be more than $3.5 billion dollars and the legislature is bound by law to pass a balanced budget. In fact, it's the only job they're actually required by state law to complete during the 60 day annual session.
