April 27, 2011| Pain clinics and the regulations that control them are a hot topic in the Florida legislature this year. Lawmakers are close to implementing a prescription drug database and approving new rules on how many doses of certain drugs pharmacies can dispense. This week on Intersection 90.7s Mark Simpson spoke with a panel of experts about the situation. Here's part of Mark's conversation with Osceola County Commission Chairman Brandon Arrington, and Paul Sloan, the President of the Florida Society of Pain Management Providers . Sloan joined the conversation on the phone from Sarasota explaining how Florida became a center for Pain Clinic abuse.
