August 17, 2011| The Federal Aviation Administration shut-down has ended, but critical issues remain. Senate Democrats and House Republicans found a compromise this month, approving a temporary funding measure for the administration. But that will expire in September. Debate continues over proposed GOP changes to rules regulating how airline and railway workers unionize and also funding for air service to rural areas. Rep. John Mica, a Republican of Winter Park, is chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and has been at the center of the debate. He spoke with "Intersection" host Mark Simpson.
