Oct. 12, 2011| Gov. Rick Scott campaigned on the promise he would create 700,000 jobs in seven years. That was in addition to Florida's natural job growth. After weeks of moving back and forth on that promise Scott issued a definitive statement late last week saying he'll create 700,000 jobs -- period -- regardless of state growth. This comes at the same time Scott says he'll seek re-election in 2014. This week on "Intersection" 90.7's Mark Simpson discussed the governor's strategy and also the impact of Florida's GOP straw poll with political commentators Dick Batchelor and Lou Frey. Dick Batchelor said the governor essentially changed his position on his jobs plan.
