Orange Charter Schools More Hospitable for Disabled Students

Their reporting indicates that, even though state law requires them to admit disabled students, many of the state’s charter schools are not keeping up their end of that bargain.
We heard that charter schools around the state have been reluctant to admit severely disabled students but some districts around Orlando are bucking that trend. 90.7’s Tom Parkinson spoke with State Impact Florida's John O'Connor and asked why Central Florida is different.
