Volusia and Brevard Expecting Strong Winds from Sub Tropical Weather

May 26, 2012 | WMFE - Sub-tropical storm Beryl is expected to bring wind gusts near 40 miles an hour to the Volusia and Brevard coasts as the weekend progresses.
The National Hurricane Center is putting Volusia and Brevard under a tropical storm warning.
Throughout the weekend the storm is expected to continue on a westerly track.
Current tracks show the storm making a landfall near Jacksonville late on Sunday night or early Monday morning.
The Orlando area is not expected to feel much impact beyond bands of showers and moderate wind gusts.
Storm surges of one to three feet are predicted along the coast
90.7 and WMFE will continue monitoring this storm.
