June 20, 2012 | WMFE - An Atlas 5 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station just before 8:30 this morning. United Launch Alliance successfully launched the rocket carrying a classified military satellite into orbit.

The launch was originally scheduled for Monday morning but was postponed due to technical issues. Engineers replaced a defective duct in the environmental control system.
ULA has another launch scheduled for next week.
A Delta IV rocket is set to lift off next Thursday, June 28, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The Delta will also carry a classified military payload.
