Romney Addresses Hispanic Elected Officials

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney spoke to a conference of elected Hispanic officials in Orlando Thursday. Romney addressed issues of economic policy and immigration reform.

He also pointed to using the American higher education system as way to spark the economy,

“I will work with states and employers to update our temporary worker visa program so that it meets our economic needs.  And if you get an advanced degree here, we want you to stay here, so we will staple a green card to your diploma.”

Romney also attacked President Obama’s trade policies with Latin America.

The President addresses the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Friday.
