July 24, 2012 | Business leaders and government officials are changing the way they think about expanding Florida's economy. It's a new concept called "Economic Gardening". At the University of Central Florida Fran Korosec oversees day-to-day operations at the new Florida Economic Gardening and Dale Brill is president of the Florida Chamber Foundation and former director of the Florida Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development, which now is part of the state Department of Economic Opportunity. They both discuss how the new policy is making strides in growing Sunshine State jobs. Plus, the new director of United Arts of Central Florida Flora-Maria Garcia discusses her vision for the arts organization.
