Intersection Segment | Florida explores economic growth without growth


July 25, 2012 | WMFE - Some Florida leaders say they can create jobs without investing lots of money into recruiting new businesses to the state. This week on Intersection 90.7's Mark Simpson talked with an expert panel about a new kind of economic development called economic gardening. Fran Korosec oversees day-to-day operations at the Florida Economic Gardening Institute at the University of Central Florida. Dale Brill, president of the Florida Chamber Foundation, joined the conversation by phone from Tallahassee. Korosec began the conversation by explaining why the concept is revolutionary.
