New State Law Hailed as a "Lifesaver" for Stalking Victims October 04, 2012 | WMFE - A new state law in effect as of Monday is being called an important breakthrough for potential victims of stalking and domestic violence. Victim's advocates say the new law is long overdue although it took effect too late for several recent victims.
Carol Wick is executive director of Harbor House, Orange County's domestic-violence shelter. 90.7’s Tom Parkinson asked her about the new law and the sudden surge in violent incidents during the last week.
