The next Falcon 9 launch is scheduled for Friday, March 1st from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The Falcon 9, with the SpaceX Dragon capsule attached, will carry about 1,200 pounds of supplies up to the International Space Station. The crew will load the Dragon capsule with experiment samples and equipment for the return flight, slated for March 25th.

This is the spacecraft’s second re-supply flight to the ISS. The company has a $1.6 billion dollar contract with NASA to fly at least 12 cargo missions to the space station. These missions are crucial for SpaceX's goal to send humans into space. The target date for that is 2015.
