But economic analyst Hank Fishkind says there's a reason for optimism behind that headline - job growth is on the rise, so more of the long-term unemployed are starting to search for work again, which in turn inflates the unemployment rate. 90.7's Nicole Creston asked Hank Fishkind for an in-depth look into the new jobs report and what the numbers mean for the state and our area.
