Florida Hospital Breaks Ground In Winter Garden  Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs was one of several dignitaries on hand for a hospital ground-breaking in Winter Garden.
[Florida Hospital officials broke ground between Daniels Road and State Road 535] The 75 thousand square foot, three storey Winter Garden Health Campus will be Florida Hospital’s 9th campus when complete in 2014. Amanda Maggard will be the head of new hospital. “The first floor of that building will feature emergency department services, as well as some beds for patients who need to be under observation for a shorter period of time,” she says. The new hospital will also have outpatient imaging services and space for primary and speciality physicians. In addition to access to health care, Winter Garden Mayor John Rees says the new hospital will help bring high-paying jobs to the community. |
