Central Florida Boy Drowns on Cruise Ship

October 14th, 2013 | WMFE - A 6-year-old Winter Garden boy drowned on board the Carnival Victory Cruise Ship on Sunday.

Qwentyn Hunter was playing with his older brother in the pool when passengers observed the boy underwater. Passengers pulled the boy from the pool but were unable to resuscitate him, according to the Miami Dade Police Department.

The Miami Dade Police Department continues to investigate, but say the boy's death appears to be accidental. 

The incident occured on the last day of a four-day cruise. Carnival Cruise Lines is based in Miami, Florida.
