Fishkind Commentary: The Cost of Living Adjustment  October 22nd, 2013 | WMFE - Now that the U.S. government is back to work, significant economic data is being released again. Financial markets are eagerly awaiting the September employment report, but economic analyst Hank Fishkind says that perhaps more important for Florida is the release of the 2014 Cost of Living Adjustment for social security recipients. This week, Fishkind explains to 90.7's Nicole Creston why the Cost of Living Adjustment, or COLA, is an issue to watch in our state. He also takes a look at the potential major changes to the COLA that will affect a large number of Floridians.
