Osceola Regional Medical Center is opening what it’s calling a patient tower.  It’s a three story expansion that Chief Medical Officer Ida Sanchez-Jimenez says will allow the hospital to offer additional services.

“That means that patients certainly don’t have to travel as far and have 45 minutes to see their loved one or go to seek emergency care,” she says.

In addition to added services and more patient beds, the Patient Tower is expected to create 125 new jobs.
