Florida Highway Patrol Officials confirm that Corchado turned himself in. This was following a deadly hit and run that caused a car to crash through Winter Park’s KinderCare.

It all began when 28-year-old Corchado hit a Toyota Solara, which then plowed into the daycare. Over 50 children were in the building at the time of the crash.

A total of 15 people, mostly children, were injured. A 4-year-old girl named Lily Quintus died Wednesday evening as a result of the crash. A webpage has been set up for the Quintis family to help pay for her funeral. Over $7,000 has been donated so far.
