UCF College of Medicine Getting Ready to Graduate Its Second Class

The University of Central Florida's College of Medicine graduates its second class May 16th, and that means the area can look forward to a wave of homegrown doctors.

This year’s College of Medicine’s graduating class is larger than last year’s, and with that- a larger number of students will doing their residencies and pursuing their subsequent careers here in Central Florida.  Pediatric Resident-To-Be Marcus Colon is among them.

“Well everyone loves their hospital experiences here as far as I could tell, if you just look at the statistics, almost half of our class is staying here and staying in Florida,” he says.

The College of Medicine’s Student Affairs office says it’s thrilled that so many graduating students are committed to working in both Florida and Central Florida- and that the area can look forward to doctors that are invested in the community.
