Most airline travelers know the security drill – take off jackets and shoes, keep liquids under three ounces, and have laptops out of bags and ready for inspection.

But the TSA Pre-Check program is designed to cut down on screening time, and agency officials are making that program more accessible.

The TSA announced Thursday that it has opened a new Pre-Check application center at Orlando International Airport. The new Orlando location is part of a nationwide expansion bringing the total number of application centers to 300 across the country.

Passengers who apply for the program must provide fingerprints and proof of US citizenship or immigration status. If approved, travelers will have access to faster Pre-Check security lanes at 118 airports. They can also keep their shoes and jackets on, and they will not have to remove liquids or laptops from carry-on bags.

Membership in the program costs $85 for five years.
