July 10, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando - In recent years, Florida has wrestled with its reputation as the nation's "Pill Mill Capital," but new data says the state is turning around its prescription drug problem.

A report released last week by the Centers for Disease Control says tighter state regulations implemented in 2009 have drastically reduced prescription drug abuse, trafficking, and fatalities.

But these policies have had a few unintended consequences.
