July 22, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando - Florida's newest job numbers show the state's unemployment rate is higher than the nation's for the first time in more than a year. But economic analyst Hank Fishkind says that's not the bad news it may seem to be.

On the other hand, the report says Florida is one of the top states for job creation…but that positive news is tempered by the fact that the numbers still do not reach pre-recession levels.
