Body Confirmed as That of Missing Teen

August 6th, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando- The Orange County Sheriff's office confirmed the body found off SR 532 near Reunion as missing teen Alexandria Chery

The 16 year old disappeared on Monday July 28.

The Olympic High School student was last seen at her home in Hawthorne Hills Place that morning.

Chery told her mother she was feeling unwell and would stay home for the day.

Her body was discovered four days later. 

Chery's mother’s boyfriend Sanel Saint Simon was arrested in connection with the disappearance.

He has been charged with obstruction of a criminal investigation and providing false information to law enforcement officers.

The homicide unit will continue investigating Chery’s death.
