There are 4 community theatres in Lake County - this week, a profile of the youngest - the Moonlight Players of Clermont. Their season opens this weekend with a double-feature - Hamlet, and the comedy featuring 2 characters from Hamlet - Rosencrantz and Gildenstern Are Dead. The 2 plays run on alternate nights through October 22. The rest of their season includes Annie Get Your Gun, Urinetown the Musical, Moon Over Buffalo, The Secret Garden and a summer Shakespeare production yet to be named. The Moonlight Warehouse Theatre IS located in an old warehouse at 732 B West Montrose Street in historic downtown Clermont. Each year, the show features a variety of songs on love and family, and on social issues, performed by Carroll and jazz singer Jacqueline Jones. Community leaders are invited to participate and funds donated are used for arts education and community projects. This week, a video of House of Love will be shown on Lakefront TV (cable channel 22 on Comcast in Lake/Sumter counties) and on Vision TV in Orange County (Brighthouse channel 98 & Adelphia channel 97).
