Central Florida Evangelical Leader Reflects on Falwell's Legacy May 16, 2007 -- Evangelical Christians in Central Florida are reflecting on the legacy of the late Reverend Jerry Falwell, and are looking ahead to what's next for their movement. Dr. Joel Hunter is a board member of the National Association of Evangelicals, and the Senior Pastor of Northland Church in Longwood. He's become known over the last year for taking a critical look at the tactics of the religious right, which Falwell helped to shape. He spoke with 90.7's David Pitman about how Falwell's death comes at a time of change for today's evangelicals.
