It’s the first Thursday of the month, so there are some art events and festivals to enjoy tonight Thursday Night Live @ 5 is in downtown Leesburg

And, 1st hursdays at the Orlando Museum of Art runs from 6-9 the theme this month is Hispanic-inspired where local artists were asked to create a contemporary work using PANTONE® 485 red, along with black and white. There will also be Latin dancing lessons, music and food

Tonight is the beginning of a week-long SCHUBERT SONG FESTIVAL at Stetson University’s School of Music. There’s a master class for singers and pianists tonight, and concerts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday featuring 2 major song cycles by Franz Schubert

 

There are just 4 days left to see Orlando Remembered 2 at the Orange County Regional History Center the annual exhibit features the manuscript of Jack Kerouac's Dharma Bums, stained glass windows from lost historic landmarks, and historic artifacts from the Lockheed Martin Company. This edition Orlando Remembered closes Monday the next one will open Sept. 27th at the History Center
