Trailer City - photograph by Peter SchreyerPeter Schreyer has explored aspects of many disappearing communities through his documentary photography projects.  His latest is Trailer City in Winter Garden, where a controversial political battle split the community in 2004.  Schreyer hopes the exhibit celebrating the heritage of the 70-year old trailer park will help to bring people together.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, and is at the Edgewater Hotel through December 1st.  99 W. Plant Street in the historic downtown area....for information, call 407-656-3244

John DiDonna is an actor, writer, director, producer, and teacher, and has been a mainstay of CentralEmpty Spaces Theatre presents BATHORY Florida theatre for close to 20 years.  His latest play, Bathory: Countess of Blood, opens this weekend at the Shakespeare Center in Loch Haven Park.  We talk about his career and his tendency to write about dark and controversial issues.

Frank Attwood as Thomas EdisonA local restaurant is trying dinner theatre on a small-scale, with a series of 1-man plays on Thursday evenings.  The next is I'll Light Manhattan, with Frank Attwood portraying Thomas Edison.  The Arts Connection's Irene Zabytko talks with him.
