Homeowners, inspectors raise concerns about My Safe Florida Home

May 23, 2008 -- Following the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons, the state of Florida began an aggressive push for residents to harden their homes. As an incentive lawmakers created the My Safe Florida Home program to help pay for things like roof straps and garage doors. But many people are unhappy with the program, especially since a recent policy change that makes most central Floridians ineligible for some of its benefits. 90.7's Steve Brown reports.
