Tonight, the UCF Music Department presents Peaceworks - a concert on the theme of peace featuring the UCF Choirs, jazz pianist Per Daniellson, jazz singer Suzy Park and UCF theatre professor Kate Ingram.  An preview of the concert was on last week's Arts Connection; this week we meet Cameron Powers and Kristina Sophia, who have spent years learning traditional music of the Middle East in order to build musical bridges.  The concert is tonight at 7:30 at 1st United Methodist Church, 142 E. Jackson Street in downtown Orlando.

 ART HIGHLIGHTS - 

Orlando Opera celebrates its 50th Anniversary with numerous events, including a production of Mozart's Don Giovanni, an Open House, a Panel Discussion on the future of the performing arts, and a concert of arias.  Most events are Saturday, Nov. 17; the opera runs Friday, 11/16, Sunday, 11/17 and Tuesday, 11/20.  Call 407-426-1700 for more information.
