Orlando Chamber Seeks to Make Businesspeople into Candidates Feb. 21, 2008 - Businesses have always put a lot of money and effort into political campaigns, backing candidates they think will be business friendly. Now, the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce is going one step further, with an effort to train local businesspeople to be politicians. 90.7's Judith Smelser reports on the chamber's new "political leadership institute."
