Tomorrow, Bill Belleville will be speaking at a free event for the Florida Writer's Association at the University Club in Winter Park at 6:30.

And on Thursday, the Lake Wales Arts Council will host an art tour, exploring the Central Florida-wide retrospective of the works of sculptor and artist Robert Stackhouse. The group departs the Lake Wales Arts Center by charter bus Thursday morning at 9, returning at 4.

Tomorrow is the Orlando Museum of Art's FIRST THURSDAY, from 6-9. The event is themed WOMAN, showcasing works by or about women.

Tomorrow begins ArtsFest, presented by United Arts. This 10-day long event includes 340 free arts and cultural events held in 58 locations throughout Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.

And on Friday night, enjoy an evening of L.A. Jazz, with Nationally acclaimed jazz and blues singer Barbara Morrison with the Daniel May Trio, at 7:30 the Trinity Prepartory School.

Daytona Beach College presents the comedy Bullshot Crummond tonight at 7:30 in the J. M. Goddard Center on the DBC Daytona Beach Campus.

The City of Palm Coast and Daytona Beach host a free concert featuring New River Bluegrass, tomorrow night at 7 at the DBC Amphitheater, with a $5 picnic dinner served at 6:30.

The first exhibition at Millenia Fine Art in 2008 will be a three-person exhibit including the following artists Rocky Bridges, Chidi Kwubiri, and Poteet Victory.  An Opening Reception will be held on Friday, February 8 to which the Public is invited. Rocky Bridges' art is also on display at Midnight Blue in Thorton Park.

The Orlando Shakespeare Theatre presents PLAYFEST! 2008 Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays, at ten-day theater event beginning this Friday, February 8.

And IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts begins its events Saturday from 9 to 5, and continues Sunday from 10-5. IMAGES is a juried fine art festival with 220 artists, held in Riverside Park, New Smyrna Beach.

Tonight at 7 Voci Dance performs THREE IN MOTION at Dr. Phillips High School, its 7th year in this collaborative performance with Dr. Phillips High School Dance Magnet and Valencia Community College dance programs,.

The Helen Stairs Repertory Company opens its performance of KISS ME, KATE, tonight at 7:30 in Sanford, with performances Firday and Saturdays at 7:30, and Sunday matinees at 2.

The Henegar Center for the Arts in downtown Melbourne presents its fourth annual Variety Show, featuring local acts of all genres, tonight at 7:30.

And tomorrow morning, the City of Orlando Puppetroupe host the Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers of Bar Harbour, Maine, presenting The Legend of the Banana Kid, at the Beardall Senior Center in Orlando. There will be two performances at 11 and 2.

The UCF Symphony will perform tonight at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Oviedo- it's also a WMFE Masterworks event, so come out at 6 tonight for a conversation with Hungarian composer Kamillo Lendvay- then the concert starts at 7 with music of great Hungarian masters. The Bach Festival has some free pre-festival events this weekend Classical Music 101 is tonight at 8 with casual concert and discussion with Dr. John Sinclair and the Bach Festival Orchestra.  And tomorrow at 2:00, there’s a Community Sing giving you the opportunity to sing some of the music that will be performed at this year’s Bach Festival, which starts next weekend.
