 The Orlando Theater Project

The Orlando Theatre Project, comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and a company of resident and supporting directors, playwrights, actors and designers, presents professional theater and shows throughout the Central Florida area. Affiliated with many Central Florida arts organizations, the Orlando Theater Projects also works under a Small Professional Theater contract with Actors' Equity Association to operate an on-going professional training program for dedicated theater students.

The Orlando Theater Project utilizes many Central Florida stages, including those of Studio B and the Goldman Theatre at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Orlando's Loch Haven Park, and the Garden Theatre in Winter Garden.

Its first performance of the season will be the Central Florida premiere of the 2006 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play, Doubt: A Parable. Doubt, written by John Patrick Shanley, explores the question of what happens when one's certainty takes precedent over everything else. The show opened March 20 and will run through April 13 at the Goldman Theatre at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Loch Haven Park. We will be talking with company director Jim Howard on some of the challenges they've faced this year, along with Doubt's director Chris Jorie
