Ella Johnson Dinkins has been at the heart of numerous changes in her community since moving to Eatonville, Florida in 1930. She and her activist daughter NY Nathiri helped form the Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community and are responsible, in part, for the Zora Neale Hurston festival. www.zoranealehurstonfestival.com
