The Opening of Sea World's "Aquatica" and its Impact on Local Tourism (April 4, 2008) Central Florida's newest water park is holding its grand opening today. Sea World's "Aquatica" attraction started welcoming guests a few weeks ago, with rides that bring together what people expect from a water park, along with some interaction with marine life. 90.7's David Pitman met with local tourism expert Abe Pizam, the dean of UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management. He says the opening of Aquatica will strengthen the local tourism market by attracting even more repeat visitors to the area.
