Who pays the bill for hospital mistakes?

July 14, 2008 -- Most of us have heard the horror stories of medical procedures gone awry, things like doctors amputating the wrong limb or leaving an object inside a patient. But should patients have to pay for such procedures? Many states have passed laws prohibiting hospitals from billing for what industry leaders call "never events". But Florida doesn't have such a policy, and as 90.7's Steve Brown reports, patients can still be billed for hospital mistakes...
