Monday August 4th

Hi. I’m Secily Wilson, here’s a look at your local arts scene this week with your Arts Connection Minute for Monday August 4th.

Tonight kicks off The City of Orlando Puppet Troupe’s performance of “Robin Hood.” They will be performing at the Princeton Street Elementary School in Orlando with performances at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. through August 8th. For more information call 407-522-1917.

And "Art in the Garden" is back at Jeanine Taylor Folk Art in Sanford. Check out their magical garden filled with art, antiques and plants now through August 24th. Call 407-323-2774 for more information.

Wednesday August 6th

Hi. I’m Secily Wilson, here’s a look at your local arts scene this week with your Arts Connection Minute for Wednesday August 6th.

For one night only The Orlando Shakespeare Theatre presents “China, The Whole Enchilada” directed by the theatre’s artistic director, Jim Helsinger. This is the only chance to see this performance before it moves onto The New York Fringe Festival on August 8th so visit orlandoshakes.org for your tickets.

And The Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales is currently displaying Beverly Gustafson’s photography exhibit “Expressions” through September 25th. Visit boksanctuary.org for more information.

Thursday August 7th

Tonight at 6 p.m. experience 1st Thursdays at the Orlando Museum of Art. Tonight’s theme is "Intersecting Worlds: Art, Politics and Religion." Visit omart.org for more information.

And The American Harp Society is in concert tomorrow night at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo. At 7 p.m. listen to the master performer and teach Carrol McLaughlin. Call 407-365-3408 for more information.

Friday August 8th
