Palin, Obama Square Off on Economy September 22, 2008 -- Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin and Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama traded barbs on the economy at events in Central Florida this weekend. Obama held a rally in Daytona Beach on Saturday; Palin spoke to tens of thousands of people at The Villages retirement community on Sunday. 90.7's Judith Smelser was at both events and filed this report.
