Orlando Gets Big Federal Grant to Battle Homelessness

February 25, 2009 -- Orlando is getting a record amount of federal money to fight homelessness this year. Mayor Buddy Dyer made the announcement today during his State of the City address. He mentioned the federal funds as part of a broader plan to help lift the local economy out of the doldrums. 90.7's Judith Smelser reports on what the money could mean for Orlando's homeless population.
