April 6, 2009-- When the Orion makes future returns from the Moon, it'll be travelling too fast to land on solid ground like the Russian Soyuz. Apollo Splashdowns are planned instead. Starting today, NASA will put a mock-up of the capsule through water recovery tests. Rescue teams will get to practice retrieving the astronauts.
