UCF Eliminates Programs, Faculty To Cope With Budget Cuts

June 4, 2009 -- The University of Central Florida is proposing the elimination of five academic programs, with nearly 50 faculty and staff facing the loss of their jobs. The school says it has to make the cuts to deal with a $78 million reduction in state funding over the last two budget years. 90.7's David Pitman reports.
