NASA Scrubs Ares Rocket Launch

NASA postponed the scheduled launch of the experimental Ares I-X rocket today because of clouds and high wind. Launch controllers tried repeatedly to get the rocket off the launch pad but weather forecasters decided it was too risky NASA officials say they'll try again Wednesday morning. When it does get off the ground, the experimental flight will last just six minutes. The experiment will cost about 445 dollars. NASA hopes to launch an Ares rocket into orbit with astronauts in 2015 but a panel of experts released a report last week critical of the Ares project and the White House is re-evaluating the human spaceflight program.
