Assistant Producer of Intersection

As Assistant Producer of Intersection, Brendan Byrne is responsible for the production of WMFE’s weekly news and in-depth conversation show.

Brendan is a native Floridian - born and raised outside of Ft. Lauderdale in Broward County. He moved to Central Florida in 2005 to attend the University of Central Florida and pursue a degree in Political Science.

He began working at WMFE as a college intern where he discovered his love for public radio.

When not at WMFE, he enjoys following both professional and college football (Go Knights!) as well as exploring Central Florida’s growing music scene.
